What makes our oil different?
Our tincture is the first pure, finished product to contain just CBDV and certified organic MCT coconut oil. This is not a full spectrum CBD oil with trace amounts of other rare or minor cannabinoids and terpenes. Instead, it contains 500mg pure cannabidivarin. What’s the difference between CBD, THC and the varins?
Both CBDV and THCV (tetrahydrocannabivarin) are varins, unique sub-families of well-known cannabinoids, CBD and THC. They have slightly shorter, 3-carbon tails, in contrast to the more common, 5-carbon tails found in CBD and THC.
They are normally found in minute amounts, so, until recently, they could not be consumed or studied on their own. Thanks to recent advances in breeding and extraction they can now be taken in much higher quantities.
